Magen David Adom is Israel’s only Medical Emergency Service & Blood Bank which serves all the people of Israel 24/7, 365 days a year. It is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation which still depends on donations from Jewish communities around the world. MDA provide and maintain Israel’s 1,716 ambulances located at 167 stations across the length and breadth of Israel. It also collects 300,000 units of blood for the people of Israel each year.

Representative Council

The Council speaks on behalf of the Jewish Community of Glasgow and the West of Scotland and provides a democratic forum for organisations within the community.
