Lubavitch is committed to reaching every Jew regardless of knowledge, observance or financial means. They provide a wide range of activities for Jews of all ages, both social and educational and provide counselling against interdating, intermarriage, missionaries and marriage guidance, in strictest confidence plus Cheder classes and Bat Chayil Programmes where required.  They give numerous adult education classes weekly.  Lubavitch provide the only Kosher restaurant in the community, plus Kosher Catering and a Wine shop.

Representative Council

The Council speaks on behalf of the Jewish Community of Glasgow and the West of Scotland and provides a democratic forum for organisations within the community.

The Glasgow Jewish Representative Council is now a standing committee of the newly formed Jewish Council of Scotland (JCoS). As part of this change, we are currently in the process of winding down as a separate Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO).
