Special Open Day – “Nameless Country”:  The Restless Poetry of A. C. Jacobs, Scottish Jewish Poet

Come and hear U.S. poet/scholar Professor Merle L. Bachman of Spalding University, Louisville, Kentucky
discuss and read from the work of Scottish-Jewish poet, Arthur Jacobs.

Bachman researched and co-edited a new anthology of Jacobs’ Selected Poems, and among her themes will be the importance of this questioning,
quietly passionate, highly Jewish poetry for today’s troubled times.

There will be time for response and questions.
