SJAC Speaker Event
Gail Sandler and Lucy Silver , Co-chairs of Jewish Book Week Festival are coming home to Glasgow to support the Archives at our speaker event on Sunday 13 May.
Gail Sandler is Glasgow-born and her background is in science and IT. After completing an MA in Hebrew and Jewish Studies at UCL, she joined the JBW and, after serving two years as Honorary Treasurer, has been Co-Chair since 2005.
Lucy Silver was born in Glasgow, studied literature, philosophy, art history and psychology, trained as a psychoanalytic psychotherapist, and counselled university students. She joined the JBW in 2008, has been Co-Chair since 2011, and took over festival directorship in 2014.
A delicious Bagel Brunch will be served after the speaker.
