The Scottish Jewish Archives Centre invites you to join us for our next speaker, Jeff Kaye , born in Glasgow , now living in Israel .
He will be sharing the story of his investigation into the life of his Lithuanian great grandfather, Samuel Jacobs, in his newly published book, Gathering Grains of Sand.
Samuel was a kosher butcher in the Gorbals , an active member of the Chevra Kadisha in South Portland St. and Langside Synagogues and Jewish education.
