Come and sit with justice, memory and community.
In this session, we’ll explore chevruta – a 1,000-year-old Jewish practice of learning in partnership. Rooted in dialogue, disagreement and shared discovery, chevruta invites us to think together rather than alone.
We’ll read a range of texts and reflections on the theme of justice – including memories of Jewish life in Govanhill – and explore what questions, tensions and insights arise in our conversation.
*12+, under 18s to be accompanied by an adult. Accessible toilets, wheelchair accessible, various seating options, step-free access. The event will have seating but this will be limited to a first come first served basis.
