Gathering the Voices exhibition – 50 George Square, Edinburgh

Gathering the Voices exhibition illustrating with words and images the experiences of survivors of Nazi persecution who sought refuge in Scotland in the 1930s and 40s.

These survivor testimonies can be heard on the website www.gatheringthevoices.com.

The interviewees discuss their lives and earliest memories of life in Europe, the horrors of Nazism, their experiences of migration and gradual integration into Scottish society.
