Doors Open Days at Cathcart Hebrew Cemetery

Queens Park Charitable Trust is opening Cathcart Hebrew Cemetery as part of Glasgow Doors Open Days, to enable public visit to Glasgow’s only permanent Holocaust Memorial.

We will also host the  Gathering the Voices Exhibition (see: http://www.gatheringthevoices.com) and the Association of Jewish Refugees Book of Remembrance.

During the day there will be talks by the sculptor Lyn Wolfson, who created the unique memorial; and by holocaust survivors and their families.

Families can also use this opportunity for the traditional visitation prior to the  High Holidays.

NB:  If you have any queries the office is only open on Monday and Thursday mornings.
