An evening of Jewish food, Jewish music and Jewish learning – 8pm

9th June 2016

Glasgow Jewish Representative Council and the Scottish Council of Jewish Communities present Michael Alpert, award winning Klezmer multi-instrumentalist:

‘The story of the Jewish people and the human race in song, music and the spoken word’.

Michael will be joined by Edinburgh fiddle player Gica Loening.

Free event – suggested donation £10 (£5 concessions).
Generously supported by the Netherlee and Clarkston Charitable Trust

 

At 6:30pm, before the main concert, there will be a kosher buffet and presentation on the Representative Council’s Volunteer Training Programme and a chance to hear about SCoJeC’s ‘JOES Boxes’ project, which brings authentic Jewish artefacts to every local authority in the country.
