Sukkat Shalom, the Edinburgh Liberal Jewish Community, welcomes members and friends to join our services.  We hold both in-person and on-line services, for erev Shabbat, Shabbat morning and for all the major festivals.  Our in-person services are held in several venues around the city of Edinburgh, while our on-line services can be a Zoom feed from an in-person service or a service where all participants are on Zoom.  Details of all our services can be found on our web site.  If you plan to join us at a service please contact us by leaving a message on our community phone or emailing from the contact page on our web page https://www.eljc.org/index.php/contact so we may welcome you.  We were established as an independent congregation in 2004 when we affiliated to the national movement Liberal Judaism (www.liberaljudaism.org).  Now a congregation of over 120 members, we have our own part-time Rabbi, Mark Solomon, who visits us every month and is available for appointments with individual members when he is in town.  We have a cheder for children from age four and up and a variety of other educational and social activities.
