DESCRIPTION:Come and sit with justice\, memory and community. \nIn this session\, we’ll explore chevruta – a 1\,000-year-old Jewish practice of learning in partnership. Rooted in dialogue\, disagreement and shared discovery\, chevruta invites us to think together rather than alone. \nWe’ll read a range of texts and reflections on the theme of justice – including memories of Jewish life in Govanhill – and explore what questions\, tensions and insights arise in our conversation. \n*12+\, under 18s to be accompanied by an adult. Accessible toilets\, wheelchair accessible\, various seating options\, step-free access. The event will have seating but this will be limited to a first come first served basis. \nPre-booking is required.
