COP26 – Volunteering Opportunities

COP 26 Volunteering opportunities with the COP25 Coalition and Stop Climate Chaos:

Over the first two weeks of November, climate leaders from around the world are coming to Glasgow for the UN climate talks. The decisions made here will impact every life on this planet, first and foremost those already on the frontlines of the climate crisis. Movements from around the world will be converging to demand climate justice be at the centre of all climate action.

The climate justice movement needs your help in Glasgow this November. The COP26 Coalition and Stop Climate Chaos Scotland are inviting you to be part of a team of volunteers supporting our work at the People’s Summit, Mass Mobilisation and Civil Society Hubs in Glasgow and online. We have a variety of roles and shifts available:

  • Build and break
  • Welcome volunteer
  • March steward
  • Tech & virtual tech support
  • Welfare

Find out more and apply online here. Make sure to apply by 31st July. You don’t need any particular skills or experiences, but you must be over 18 to volunteer. If you have any questions, email [email protected].

There is also the COP Homestay network where you can host delegates in your home. Click on the link for more information: COP26 Homestay Network
