The Scottish Jewish Archives Centre presents
Dough
A rehearsed reading followed by Q&A
Written and produced by David Ian Neville, performed by members of the local community
David Ian Neville works as a writer, director and producer with an extensive range of theatre and TV credits. His play Dough has been performed at Oran Mhor in their lunchtime series ‘A Play, a Pint and a Pie’ series and is based in a bakery in a neighbourhood like the Gorbals. New developments are happening all around the bakery and owner Albie and his wife Iza are struggling to keep their heads above water. Sometimes humorous, sometimes sad the story is a universal tale of immigrants in changing times.
