NIA TECHNIQUE – DANCE AND MOVE TO FEEL GOOD
Back by popular demand!
Come along and join us for some fun and mindful movement and dancing, inspired by the 52 moves of the Nia (Neuromuscular Integrative Action) technique. Nia combines 52 basic moves from dance (modern, jazz and Duncan) martial arts (Tai chi, Taekwondo and Aikido) and healing arts (Yoga, Alexander Technique and Feldenkrais).
It is good for mind, body and soul, and easy to follow. No previous experience is needed, it is for all ages and abilities and you can do it seated. The music is from different countries and genres, and you’ll love it. It’s great for your wellbeing to dance with friends and communities and everyone leaves with a smile!
We finish at 9pm, leaving time for coffee, snacks and a blether
