Are you concerned about food poverty in our country? Do you believe that access to good food is a human right?
Do you want to gain knowledge and learn some practical skills to help you make a difference?
In November 2016 the Interfaith Food Justice Network (IFJN) launched its Food Justice Declaration signed by diverse faith communities, groups providing emergency food aid and others- which pledges to work together towards a society where emergency food aid isn’t necessary.
We’ve now teamed up with Nourish Scotland – an organisation working for a fairer, more sustainable food system in Scotland and beyond – who will deliver this interactive workshop on Tuesday 31st October to increase our skills and knowledge so we can work towards that goal.
The workshop will cover:
- campaigning and advocacy skills
- the human right to food
- the potential of the upcoming Scottish Government Good Food Nation Bill to transform our food system.
